The Capital District Women's Employment & Resource Center (WERC) will honor their 2015 Annual Award winners on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn Troy.
Annmarie Lanesey, President/CEO, Greane Tree Technology, will be awarded the Harriet Rifkin Leadership Award in recognition of her leadership, volunteerism, professionalism, and her work in creating opportunities for women to achieve personal and financial independence.
Please join us as we celebrate! Tickets are available from WERC and all proceeds from the event will support WERC's mission to advance women's success in the workplace by building their economic and personal independence.
Annmarie is proud to join her fellow honorees:
Lisa Wilson-Good, Founder/Director, Urban Grief, will receive the WERCing Woman of Achievement Award. This award is presented to a woman whose career path has been filled with unique transitions, unexpected challenges, opportunities to take risks, and who serves as an excellent role model for women served by WERC.
Ellis Medicine will be recognized with the Advancement of Women in the WERCplace Award for its longstanding efforts to remove barriers that keep women from achieving financial independence and success.
Lois Smith-Law will be awarded the WERC Lifetime Achievement Award to distinguish her as a woman who lived her life with passion and truly embraced WERC's mission to help others through her entire career.
