Greane Tree Technology has launched a completely revitalized web presence for Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. The 800+ page website provided a complete "face lift" to the site, while providing an integration for the site's backend database systems, new search cabilities, and integration with the college's BlackBoard interactive classromm learning systems. The newly developed site provides an intuitive and easy to use navigation system for site's users and brings the site up-to-date both aesthetically and technically with the integration of Web 2.

The Rensselaer Chamber has proudly announced The Leadership Institute Class of 2011, and Greane Tree is proud to be participating! This year’s dynamic and diverse group will participate in the award winning skills-based professional development program, which begins in September. The program emphasizes a “learning from leaders” approach to developing the talent of future leaders in New York’s Tech Valley. More than 125 Leadership alumni have graduated during the past five years, and are now applying their valuable skills within their professions and within their communities.

Greane Tree Technology was honored to be featured in the award video for Nehme Frangie, VP of Relations for Vicarious Visions at the Albany-Colonie Regional Chamber of Commerce's annual gala. Frangie was given the Spirit of the Chamber Award, which is presented to an individual whose dedicated service and efforts have brought credit to the Chamber and enhanced the Chamber’s standing in the community. Frangie's Albany based company Vicarious Visions is a creator of video and computer games, is comprised of highly creative talent from around the globe.

Although we are optimistic that the economic climate may begin to get a little warmer soon, Greane Tree Technology shared some tips on how to save small businesses money on their IT infrastructure and budget for the Albany-Colobie Regional Chamber's Podcast Series. We’ve found that many small businesses do not fully understand their technical and IT infrastructure needs and often make technology decisions that may not always be the “best fit” or most cost effective solution for their size of business or computing and data needs.

Greane Tree Technology is proud to announce Annmarie Lanesey, Chief Operating Officer has recently been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Animal Protective Foundation (APF) in Scotia, NY. APF's mission continues to be to address pet overpopulation and animal suffering, enhance human/animal relationships, and provide care to animals in need. Through its numerous outreach programs, APF provides valuable support to the community. In addition to its primary sheltering and adoption services, the APF offers dog training classes, humane education, stray housing for several municipalities, support for animal cruelty cases, and various special events, including the Fireplug 500 Walk for Animals.
