Jennifer Hixon had the opportunity to attend Scrum Master training with Certified Scrum Trainer Jim Schiel. Jim is the author of The ScrumMaster Study Guide and Enterprise-Scale Agile Software Development and he received both his Scrum Master and his Scrum Trainer certifications from one of the co-founders of the Scrum method. By studying under this excellent teacher, Jenny has deepened her understanding of Agile, and she is now a member of the Scrum Alliance and a Certified Scrum Master.

Greane Tree Technology Group, LLC is proud to announce its placement in the Albany-Colonie Regional Chamber of Commerce’s business competition. Sixteen Capital Region businesses competed in the competition of the Chamber's Entrepreneur Program. Prizes included $1000 cash sponsored by First Niagara Bank, a new printer/ scanner/ fax system from Repeat Business Systems, as well as a one year membership to the chamber. Nehme Frangie, vice president of partnerships and operations at Vicarious Visions in Menands –– the company that created such popular games as “Guitar Hero,” “Spider-Man” and “Tony Hawk” –– was the keynote speaker and inspired the businesses to forge ahead despite the current state of the economy.
